Naruto: Tears in Heaven
A crack of thunder cascaded throughout the land, and a lonely boy felt water trail down the back of his neck.
'The rain is falling, Naruto. The tears of thousands of angels are sweeping the earth... Cleansing it of it's sins...'
(Would you know my name,
If I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same,
If I saw you in heaven?)
Sasuke Uchiha, hands dug deep into his pockets for warmth, waited. He wasn't sure for what. All he knew was what was around him at that one moment. For in front of him, there was something he knew should not be. There was simply no sense in it. There was a simplistic gravestone, nothing spectacular, nothing unique. An

Suppressed by all my childish fears)
Blankets draped over Uchiha Sasuke's waist as he lay in bed. His eyes were blank, a faint redness at the edge of his eyelids. In the darkness, none could really see that he had been crying. Not that anyone was there to notice. He kept on having the same dream. Over and over, every single night. He would dream that Naruto and him were just together, being friends. Laughing together, smiling. And Naruto's smile shone brighter than any sun above him. But that wasn't an exaggeration of the dream; far from it. For the angel that had surpassed on to Heaven had the kind of smile that

Naruto: Flying without wings
It felt like there was darkness all around him. He didn't know where he was going, what he was doing. All he could do was keep running. What was happening? Where was he? And why was it so dark? There was no sign of anything familiar. He started to call out, though he didn't know why, "his" name. Maybe hoping in the back of his mind that he would come and save him.
"NARUTO!" The scream seemed to fade instantly. There was no echo.
He collapsed on to what must have been the ground. He couldn't tell. The black-haired boy started to shiver. It seemed too cold.
"I wish you were here..." He murmured, tears trailing down his face. "I wish you were

Naruto: Don't, Won't, Can't
A blonde boy sat beside his team-mate, hands behind his head, casually looking upwards. Suddenly, he spoke up with a rather odd question.
"What would you do if I cried?"
"... You don't cry."
The blonde glanced at his friend, his black eyes emotionless in contrast to his blue.
"What would you do if I died?"
"... You won't die."
The blonde gave up, and with a shrug, turned over on his side. The next question was meant for himself. The black-haired boy wasn't even meant to hear it.
"What would you do if I left?"
The fox-boy was almost sure that his friend didn't hear him, because he did not respond. The blonde fiddled with a blade of gra

I'm standing on the bridge
I'm waiting in the dark
Naruto sat idly by the bridge where Team 7 would meet, patiently waiting. He leaned his head back onto one of the cool, metallic bars, sighing apathetically. Gazing upwards, the blonde grimaced. It looked like it was going to start pouring any minute. The sky was covered with a blanket of grey, overshadowing the normally blue view. Naruto blinked in suprise. A drop splattered on his nose. Great. Now he was going to be soaking wet in a matter of minutes. He quickly ran under the nearest tree, trying to shield himself from the offending rain. It worked, but only barely. The pace of the raindr

"What the Hell?" Naruto said, clearly disgusted.
"What?" Sasuke asked.
"What the Hell is this? I can tell already that this fic is gonna suck," Naruto groaned.
Sasuke sighed, giving a small shrug. "Nothing we can do, I geuss. Just roll with it." //A.N. OMG SASUKE'S SO HAWT! HE'S SO KAKKOIIIII!//

It was one of those nights you only hear of in storybooks. The sky was clear, and seemingly endless. Every star shined like porcelain in its own little area of the sky. It was the ideal night for stargazing, and that's exactly what two boys planned to do.
Lying on their backs, the cool breeze washed over them. Grassy tendrils tickled their skin, the night entirely peaceful.
"Ne, Sasuke," The blonde said, grinning. "That one looks like a spoon."
"Dobe," Sasuke scoffed, turning to Naruto. "That would be the big dipper."
"The wha'?"
"The big dipper. It's a constellation," Sasuke explained. "See? Look. There's the handle."
"Oh," Naruto murm

Face to face, two men stare each other down.
"Do you even know who I am?" The taller of the two practically spits out the question.
The smaller man's expression and voice is unusually blank. He effortlessly rattles off the statement as if it were memorized. "Uchiha Sasuke, Genin rank. Two months prior returned after having abandoned Konoha, former S-class missing nin."
His fists clench, and a flash of read appears before Sasuke's eyes. He raises a fist as if prepared to strike and yells, "That's not what I meant, you-"
In a barely perceptible movement, Sasuke's arm had twisted behind his back, clutched by the blonde.

Naruto: Why don't you?
I can't stand it.
I can't stand to see you like this. Why, why do you just sit there- lost? Why do you brush off all of the taunts they give you? Why do your eyes cloud over in that way, like you're lost in another world? Why do you just take it? No one else can see the way your hands clench over orange fabric. No one else can tell the way you want to scream, but no sound comes out. No one else can tell, because they've never felt the same way as you. No one's been this lonely. Except, maybe, for me. But I daren't assume.
But soon, before I can say a thing, you leave. Walking alone among the path of invisible people, you are the only one I

Naruto: Season of Fall
Sasuke was not particularly fond of Fall.
It was between Summer and Winter, the leaves changed color, and it was crisp outside. That summed up his opinion of the time of year, truthfully. But other than that, he seriously couldn't have cared less. It wasn't really that he didn't like it, but he didn't love it either. It was just there, and it passed by like all the other seasons. In short, Fall was just one of Sasuke's many objects of indifference.
He didn't know what the big deal was about it, either. Poets ranting and raving about the beauty and the elegance of the falling leaves, of the symbolism of the trees becoming bare with each pass
